My puppy is ia almost 3 months old and i have tried everything and the cage isnot working.?
I have tried to put My puppy in the cage while eating. I then put her out and say pe and poo and she still does not do it. I clean up the mess and bring the poo outside and she still poos in the house..
Should I leave her in the cage when I am not home. How long can I leave her in the cage.?

if that puppy was born in the wild...in a den its mom would know what to do....she licks them dry at birth and keeps them clean..when shelicks them at first its to get them to go potty....then as they get olderand can eat better food for their systems...they will potty right there....but she shows them how to keep klean house...she bights them softly on the behind halfway between the tail and the knees now yr that poochies mom....you don't have to turn him tail up and bite him.....but you can pinch him when you take him from the den...i don't like to call it a cage because later you can substitute it 4 a blanket....and get the same results....and take him straight outside...set him down and a quick soft tummy rub...as you set him down....if you got a fenced yard...great ..if you use a leash and plastic poo bag..super...be happy when he poops and you enjoy bagging it...let him know thats appreciated....and he'll enjoy giving you more.... go for a little run,,with him now....just a fewminutes....he's lighter and thats a que......Britt's right on...if you make clean.up the game you won't..do much more than clean and clean and clean...and he'll contribute more and more....good idea to not let him see the clean/up...the less you punish but praise and understandyou can show him what to do..the easier and simplier the pup can learn.....after a while you'll come to know a great gift and friend.....and all or a little punishment will not help......how long are you away 4-5 yrs may be much at that age...if he's completely alone....7-9 months no problm....great if he has a snuggle toy though....ohn sorry...puppy's a she.....good luck...a pinch to keep it in....tummy rub to let it out [from tummy button to pubic bone]
