Is there a lot of problems with Pet Supplies Plus birds?
I've heard that petco and petsmarts have a lot of problems with their birds, so i was wondering how pets supplies plus was.
Answer:
I occasionally sell birds to Pet Supplies Plus. Only problem I see is they dont always know exactly what their getting, they dont really know the species and are often afraid of what your selling. They also tend to buy from not so great breeders, aka The Cheapest so their resale value is high. As long as you the consumer know what your looking for your in fine shape. Petsmart however buys from bird farms, kinda like puppy mills so, take your pick. Its always a good idea to ask them where their birds came from, how long they have been in the store. I saw a canary with a broken leg there once, told them to remove it and get it medical help.
