Wall and Door Protectors Explained
Doors and wall can easily become damaged by the constant movement of people and trolleys in busy buildings such as hotels, schools, hospitals, banks, supermarkets, airports, offices, postal offices and call centers.
Damage to the interior fabric of buildings is a serious problem for developers, architects and facilities managers. who need to work to minimize the effects. Although accidental, it should be given serious consideration and guarded against whenever possible.
Protect the interior of your building and improve its impact by installing a stylish wall and door protector. Not only can repair costs be reduced but you also don’t experience the inconvenience of having workmen in the building.
A building protection system is typically made up of a number of component products including kick plates, push plates and door protectors. It is important to carefully select your door and wall protector and ensure that it is fitted in the position where most damage occurs. If different types of trolleys are operating in the same areas then it is likely they will cause damage at varying heights. Consider panels of greater width or projection, stand-off rails, wall panels or a combination.
The choice of colours of products can help distinguish areas and direct people. This is of particular help to partially sighted people. Colours of high contrast used for door ends and corners will help warn of a directional change. Door plates can highlight door handles.
Generally speaking, rubber will take a greater head-on impact than PVCu, but PVCu is better for the glancing blow commonly associated with corridor life. Rubber, rather than metal, when used on loading bays or in car parks, will not only afford protection to the building but also to the offending vehicle. Material must not only be resistant to impact and abrasion but must also comply with fire safety standards.
With so much choice it can be difficult to know which type of wall or door protector is best for you; in this case you should consult an expert for their recommendation.
Correct installation is probably as important as selection of the wall and door protection itself. No matter how good the system, if badly fitted it will let you down eventually.
How to Install
Your surface must be clean, free from grease and dust, dry and suitable primed. Hold the wall and door protector against the surface and mark the position.
To ensure a good bond, wall coverings should be cut back and treated with primer. The strip should be cut to the correct length as required, the backing foil detached, offered in position and then pushed against the surface applying even pressure.
If a surface is in disrepair then adhesive mastic may be a good alternative to double sided tape.

I'm trying to get waves, so should i brush the side of my head down or forward?
i have been trying to get waves for a while, i can see them a little bit on top but nothing on the side. so i was wondering should i brush the side of my head down or forward?
also any additional tips for getting all around waves would be helpful.
Thanks
Answer:
It depends on what kind of waves you're tryna get..
Regular Waves - Brush it in any direction
360 Waves -You wanna Brush your hair in a rotative motion.. and be consistent with that pattern.
Take it from me, DO NOT BRUSH YOUR HAIR WITH A HARD BRUSH because your hairline will thin out.
