I want to get an adult dog from a shelter/rescue. Do adult dogs teethe?
I cannot stand puppy teething, so I want an adult dog that's calm and doesn't teeth. DO adult dogs NOT teethe? Also, can adult dogs be more afectionate to their owners than puppies, sicne puppies are too much ito teething and chewing and such stuff?

no. adult dogs typically do not teethe youre right. teething occurs when the puppy has teeth growing in. they need to chew to calm and comfort themselves. and dogs are capable of becoming very affectionate to their owners but you need to let the dog know that youre his new owner. YOU have to grow on HIM 
but yes. dogs make wonderful pets and companions. be ready for his/her homecoming though. and make sure you express your likes and dislakes at the shelter so they can pair you up with a perfect dog for you.
