Does Your Family Complain About Your Dog's Barking? Time To Get A Dog Bark Collar
To a dog, barking is the only way it has to communicate its emotions, such as fear, hunger or loneliness. It is when barking becomes too loud or happens at very inconvenient times that it becomes a real problem. You may have this same problem with your own dog which may keep you and your family up all night with its constant barking. The intensity and frequency of barking can be as varied as the different dog breeds there are, with some dog breeds having a louder bark than others; still, it's your duty to do what it takes to make sure your dog doesn't bother the people around you. You should discipline your dog; or best of all, go for a dog bark collar. The dog bark collar is the most cost effective solution for reducing the barking of your dog until it's no longer a problem. Pet supply stores will usually offer you three basic types of anti bark collars: these are the citronella bark collar, the electric or shock collar, and the ultrasound or ultrasonic collar. These three types of anti-bark collars have proven highly effective in significantly reducing or stopping dogs from barking continuously. The Citronella Spray Collar The citronella collar is so called because it sprays your dog's muzzle with citronella essence whenever your dog barks. The citronella smell is a strong one and it's also used in the production of perfume products. However, dogs dislike the odor of citronella, which is why this collar is very effective. The Electronic Shock Collar This collar is one of the most well known ones. The collar is programmed to detect excessive barking and correcting the dog by delivering a small electric shock, much like the one you get when you handle fabric. The shock increases in intensity every 30 seconds if the dog doesn't stop barking: probably because the first one was too mild for a dog's skin to be felt. If the dog continues to bark, this collar will deliver a slightly stronger shock that will grow in intensity at 30-second intervals between consecutive barks up to the collar's highest level. The Ultrasound Collar The ultrasound or ultrasonic collar corrects the dog's barking by emiting a sound that only dogs can hear. This collar's correction method is effective, yet doesn't add more noise to an already noisy situation. By spending a bit on a dog bark collar, you'll be contributing to the peace and quiet of the place you live in. Your dog's barking won't go totally away, as it's part of its nature, but it will become much more tolerable.
