I have 2 female rats, they are about 3 months old now, but i was wondering if i could give them bird toys, not all of them, just the wooden ones as they look much more interesting than regular rat toys, or have they been treated in anything that rats can't have?
If they can't have them, then are there any toys i can make at home or that they would really like? So far they have a house, hammock, rope toy thing, plastic tunnel, wooden block and toilet role tubes. Thanks

Birds toys actually make for great rat toys. I have several wooden ladders, and hanging bells that I got in the bird toy section. They are perfectly fine to use.
