What Makes The Remote Dog Collar Different
Training a dog is so important. You want your dog to be a trusted and loved friend, but at the same time, you don't want it to cause problems for the people around you. We have all been in that situation where we hear a neighbor’s dog barking when we are trying to get to bed at night and we just can't stand it. Just like you didn't like such a situation, you don't want to put someone else in a similar position. The Principle The remote dog collar is very different from other types of dog training collars, such as the electric collar or the citronella spray collar. The biggest difference is that you control the collar yourself. Because of this, you can get much more focused training sessions than with the other types of collars, which work on their own while the dog wears them. In order to use the remote dog collar properly you will need to be there with your dog while they are wearing it. You start by teaching your dog one trick at a time, and add more complex tricks after the dog has learned the first one, and only use the collar if the dog disobeys an order. The remote control that comes with the collar should be in your hand at all times during training, and the moment you press the button in it, the collar will correct the dog with a small static electricity shock delivered through two prongs that are located on the inside of the collar. When you make the dog wear the collar for the first time, you should make sure that the two steel prongs are in direct contact with the skin of the dog's neck. Don't worry about whether the collar will hurt your dog because it won't. It does use static electricity to scare the dog but that is all it does is scare the dog a bit and not injure him at all. Many people say that the collar is inhumane, but if you're brave enough to try it on yourelf (most people aren't) you won't know exactly what it feels like.
