How do you build your small business with a small budget?

Answer:
There a lot of things you can do yourself. I specialize in building small business up. For starters, join your local chamber of commerce, the fee should not be that much & is an annual fee. When you join, use it, go to every function, network, be an ambassador for your chamber. Look in your local paper, any opportunity to get out there in the public eye is great! Do community work. If there are local street fairs, or festivals where you can have a business booth, don't miss them! Also, make sure you have a website. Customer retention - send thank you cards, hand written. Your customers will love that! Remember that most business comes from referrals, make all your existing customer very happy! May is not that long ago, send all your customers thank you cards. By starting out with these simple things, and a few others, I have more than tripled the business I am working for right now.
